Tumblr started in 2007 as a microblogging and social networking website. Its interface allows for quick posts in a short-form blog or multimedia format paired with social interaction, like re-blogging and following users. The platform lets users express themselves in any way they like, leading to its success over time.
The brand was having trouble engaging its audience of Gen Zers, who were quite inconsistent. They were looking for a copywriter to help them write and improve their existing assets to boost higher engagement rates. It was important for them to work with a partner who understood how to effectively write copy that would get their audience to take action.
Besides writing the copy and content in-house, they were looking for additional help to ensure the copy was as conversion-optimized and polished as possible. I wrote sales page copy and middle of funnel ads for them.
